Job Summary
Join FERCHAU as a Real-Time Simulation Systems Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge real-time simulators for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS) applications at Siemens Energy. Your daily tasks will involve planning, building, commissioning, and documenting these simulators, as well as configuring and operating them for project-specific factory tests. You'll also be responsible for creating test documentation, supporting new system development, and providing technical support for customer deliveries and on-site commissioning. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering
Experience
- Initial professional experience in power converter, high-voltage, digital simulation, control, or automation technology
- Ideally, experience in HVDC or FACTS environments
