Job Summary
This role is for an experienced PLC Programmer to join FERCHAU, a company focused on digitalizing production processes and optimizing automation for clients in plant engineering and special machine construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, programming, and optimizing PLC applications for industrial automation systems, including commissioning and troubleshooting. Key tasks involve analyzing customer requirements, creating technical concepts, and documenting programming changes. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or comparable field; alternatively, a certified Technician or Master with relevant professional experience
Experience
- Professional experience in developing, programming, and optimizing PLC applications for industrial automation systems in special machine construction, plant engineering, or conveyor technology
- Experience with various automation systems and technologies (e.g., Step 7, TIA Portal, Codesys)
- Experience in commissioning plants and controls
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting plants and controls
