Job Summary
This role involves the independent planning and development of application-specific hardware systems, guiding them from conception to series production while considering technical, economic, and ecological factors. Key responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, collaborating with users, international development partners, and internal interfaces, and defining hardware structures at the block diagram level within the given system architecture. The ideal candidate will implement requirements according to established concepts and standards, ensure hardware release, and meticulously document development steps. They will also present to stakeholders and train internal and external partners. The position requires a degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a comparable field, coupled with initial experience in hardware development, preferably within the automotive industry. Strong analytical skills, process understanding, a structured work approach, initiative, and teamwork abilities are essential. Fluency in both German and English is a must.
