Job Summary
This role involves developing and programming innovative PLC controls, primarily using Siemens S7 or Beckhoff TwinCAT. The successful candidate will frequently travel to client sites to ensure smooth integration and optimal functionality of control systems, create visualizations and user interfaces with software like WinCC or TIA Portal, and perform diagnostics and troubleshooting. A key aspect of the role is precise documentation of all work and training operational personnel on new systems. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable qualification; alternatively, completed vocational training with further qualification as a Technician/Bachelor Professional
Experience
- Several years of experience in PLC programming with Siemens S7, Beckhoff, or similar systems
- Experience with common programming languages such as AWL, KOP, FUP, and SCL
- Experience in commissioning complex machinery and systems on-site at customer locations
