Job Summary

This full-time, permanent Laboratory Assistant role in Freiburg focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and availability of reusable lab materials for upstream production. The successful candidate will be responsible for sterilizing, cleaning, and distributing labware, including spinner and culture bottles, ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for use. Key duties also involve disposing of autoclaved waste, cleaning sterile workbenches, incubators, and water baths, and assisting with the preparation of buffer solutions. The role requires good numerical, reading, and communication skills, along with flexibility, teamwork, and strong time management. Experience in a laboratory environment is desirable, and excellent German language skills are essential.
