Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant systems, primarily focusing on electrical, ventilation, and compressed air systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing electrical and process-related switching operations, conducting regular plant inspections, and contributing to troubleshooting and fault resolution. The position also includes participation in demanding decommissioning projects, performing recurring tests, and supporting maintenance activities. A key aspect of the role is the operational buffer storage and disposal of liquid residues. Ideal candidates will have a background in electrical engineering or mechatronics, relevant professional experience, and a willingness to work in shifts and on-call, including covering for illness and vacation. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent employment by the client.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, and certification as a switching-authorized Electrical Specialist.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics, preferably in the nuclear sector

  • Willingness to work in shifts and on-call (including covering for illness and vacation). Medically fit for work in radiation protection areas, as a breathing apparatus wearer, and suitable for driving and control activities.
