Job Summary

The R&D Scientist will be responsible for conducting experimental work within research and development projects, focusing on recombinant antigens and other protein classes like enzymes and antibodies. A key aspect of this role involves applying expertise in protein purification, combined with a strong biological background and experience in recombinant DNA and expression work. Day-to-day tasks include independent experimental project work, literature research, developing expression methods for new target proteins, optimizing protein expression in various cell systems (yeast, insect, E.coli), and developing purification methods. The role requires proficiency in protein chemical analysis techniques and meticulous documentation.
