Job Summary
This role supports the Chair of the Scientific Commission of Lower Saxony, an independent expert body advising the state government on science and research policy. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing the Chair for internal and external engagements, contributing to strategic planning and steering of commission projects, and coordinating appointments and communications with diverse national and international stakeholders. This position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of science, policy, and administration, requiring a proactive individual capable of quickly acquiring new knowledge and demonstrating strong organizational and conceptual skills. The role is based in Berlin and is initially a one-year fixed-term contract, with options for mobile and remote work.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent in Political Science or Science Management
Experience
- Professional experience in supporting leadership roles
- Experience in strategic planning and project steering
