Job Summary

This role involves developing functional materials and manufacturing processes for the FCAS program and internal development projects, including supporting national and international R&T initiatives. The engineer will be responsible for creating and harmonizing material and process specifications, defining selection lists based on program requirements, and managing qualification campaigns. Key responsibilities also include providing M&P support to other engineering and manufacturing disciplines, assisting with supplier audits, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations like REACh. The ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace, materials science, or mechanical engineering, with over three years of experience in the aerospace sector. Strong knowledge of non-structural aerospace materials, manufacturing technologies, and composite technology is essential, along with experience in laboratory environments and managing test programs. Required Skills

Education

Completed studies in Aerospace, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • More than 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace sector
  • Professional experience in laboratory environment
  • Experience in definition and execution of test programs, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Demonstrated work package management skills and respective reporting skills
  • First experience with environmental regulatory compliance (appreciated)
