Job Summary

The City of Kamp-Lintfort is seeking a dedicated Electrician to join their Civil Engineering Department, focusing on the Electro/Pump Works/Canal group. This role is crucial for maintaining the city's extensive street lighting network, comprising approximately 4,800 light points and 50 control stations, along with managing underground distributors and market cabinets. Key responsibilities include the maintenance, monitoring, and repair of 40 mixed, rain, and wastewater pump stations, as well as 15 km of pressure pipelines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment according to safety regulations, general electrical installation work, and wiring/programming of access control systems. This position requires strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency services, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should be highly motivated, flexible, and possess excellent organizational skills.
