Join the Fraunhofer IME in Aachen as a Postdoctoral Researcher, contributing to cutting-edge research in industrial biotechnology. This role focuses on developing innovative microbial platform technologies for the bio-based production of chemicals from alternative raw materials, with a particular emphasis on syngas-fermenting Clostridia. You will be instrumental in conducting molecular biology work, including cloning expression constructs, performing metabolic flux analyses to optimize metabolism, and setting up and executing continuous fermentation processes under strict anaerobic conditions.
