Job Summary

The Forschungszentrum Jülich is seeking an Innovation Manager to drive the transfer of research into the economy and society. This role involves managing and developing existing innovation education programs, such as JUICE, to engage researchers in transfer, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will design and implement digital and hybrid training models, workshops, and networking events, often conducted in English. A key responsibility is to proactively support the center's startup initiatives in innovation and startup competitions. Furthermore, the manager will foster the center's innovation culture and promote individual talents by establishing and implementing a strategic innovation prize management system, including supporting nominations for prestigious innovation awards. This position is ideal for someone passionate about bridging science with business and society, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Natural Sciences, Economics, Social Sciences, Humanities, or a comparable field; PhD is desirable

Experience

  • Proven cooperative and implementation-oriented abilities in a scientific or science-related field
  • Experience in conceptualizing and implementing digital and hybrid event and e-learning formats
  • Affinity for innovation and transfer in a scientific environment (desired)
