Job Summary

This role is for an expert in control systems, focusing on energy supply projects involving steam, gas, and biomass power plants. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical processing and conceptual design of automation and control systems, from the offer stage to customer realization. Key tasks include creating design specifications, configuring hardware and software for automation, network technology, and operating levels, and conducting various tests (functional, performance, customer acceptance). The position requires significant travel within Germany for on-site commissioning and direct interaction with clients, partners, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, practical experience with specific control system tools, and strong communication skills, contributing to high-quality, customer-oriented solutions.

Experience

  • Professional experience in control systems for energy supply projects (steam, gas, biomass power plants)
  • Experience in conceptualizing automation and control technology solutions from offer to customer realization
  • Experience in designing specifications and configuring hardware and software for automation, network, and operating levels
  • Experience in conducting functional, performance, and customer acceptance tests
  • Experience in network technology (e.g., PROFIBUS, PROFINET, ETHERNET)
  • High degree of independence in commissioning planned systems
