Job Summary
The Altmarkkreis Salzwedel district administration is seeking a full-time Process Navigator for its Youth Welfare Office. This role is crucial for providing individual and independent counseling to young people and families regarding integration assistance services, supporting them through the application process, and ensuring their rights are upheld. Additionally, the position involves significant process-accompanying functions, including supporting the Youth Welfare Office in consolidating integration assistance services, reporting on inter-agency cooperation, and engaging in project organization and conceptual work related to the Children and Youth Empowerment Act. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal knowledge in social law, experience in project management, and excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, contributing to the development of structural collaborations with various stakeholders.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, or Special Needs Education with state recognition; OR University degree in Pedagogy, Educational Science, or Childhood Pedagogy with proven equivalent skills and experience for social worker/pedagogue roles.
Experience
- Professional experience in social work/social pedagogy (if not a direct graduate of Social Work/Pedagogy or Special Needs Education)
- Experience in project management
- Experience in public relations (implied by tasks)
