Job Summary

This role involves managing the operational aspects of clinical distribution within a global supply chain team based in Kaiseraugst. The specialist will handle end-to-end order management and shipping processes for clinical supplies, including Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) and drop shipments. A core responsibility is ensuring timely delivery by proactively monitoring shipments and addressing potential issues, while meticulously managing all necessary documentation and licenses according to country-specific regulatory requirements (GDP-relevant environment). The ideal candidate will be the primary contact for all internal and external stakeholders regarding shipping and logistics, utilizing systems, dashboards, and data analysis for effective communication and performance monitoring. This is a crucial position offering exposure to global supply chain improvements, system monitoring, and process optimization projects, requiring strong IT affinity and experience in intercultural collaboration.

Required Skills

Education

Vocational qualification or Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Business Administration, or Logistics fields. APICS or SCOR certification is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in E2E Supply Chain, Distribution, or Logistics (preferably clinical)
  • Professional experience managing operational order fulfillment and shipment processing
  • Experience in monitoring shipments and ensuring timely delivery in a regulated environment
  • Experience in intercultural collaboration
