Job Summary

This role involves developing critical applications for the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) to enhance aviation safety. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating an iPad application that provides immediate warnings to flight crews regarding GNSS interference and spoofing signals, which can severely impact safety-critical systems like ADSB, EGPWS, FMS, GBAS, and SBAS. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing necessary interfaces, collaborating with designers and pilots on user interface design, and implementing the application on iOS using Java or C/C++. This position is part of a team researching future ATM concepts and pilot assistance systems, including AI integration and new Human-Machine Interfaces, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aviation technology and safety.
