Job Summary

The Postdoctoral Researcher will engage in cutting-edge interdisciplinary research within the Department of Nephrology at University Hospital Frankfurt, focusing on the role of the hematopoietic system in cardiovascular and kidney diseases. This role involves independently developing new translational projects, planning and executing experiments to characterize the hematopoietic system at the heart-kidney interface, and analyzing the results. The successful candidate will be responsible for publishing scientific manuscripts in high-ranking journals and actively participating in scientific conferences and research networks. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree and PhD in biochemistry, cellular/molecular biology, medical biology, computational biology, or a related field

Experience

  • Professional experience in interdisciplinary research in Nephrology and Cardiovascular biology
  • Solid expertise in cell and molecular biology, medical biology, and physiology
  • In-depth knowledge of molecular biology, ideally including experience with single-cell technologies and epigenetics
