Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive management of Grevenbroich's 350 km public sewage network, focusing on planning and executing renovation and new construction projects for the sewage system and special structures like pump stations and rainwater retention facilities. The successful candidate will coordinate and implement wastewater regulations, manage sewer inspection vehicle deployment, assess sewer conditions, and develop rehabilitation concepts. Key responsibilities also include overseeing operational processes for wastewater treatment plant maintenance, inspecting commercial discharges, and supporting water body maintenance. This position requires a civil engineering background in urban water management, practical experience in sewer rehabilitation, and strong technical and communication skills to ensure efficient and compliant wastewater management for the city.
