Job Summary
As the Head of Service Management at Salzgitter Digital Solutions GmbH, you will lead three departments, ensuring a highly available, 24/7 IT operation for the entire Salzgitter Group. This pivotal role involves optimizing service processes using modern ITSM principles, acting as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, and driving strategic IT projects and innovations in collaboration with executive management and client companies. You will be responsible for fostering cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring transparent budget and resource planning, and cultivating a positive feedback culture for continuous team development. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience in an IT service environment
- Experience in a corporate context or data center is ideal
- Proficient in IT Service Management, e.g., based on ITIL
- Experience with service processes, KPIs, and control instruments for quality assurance
