Job Summary

This role involves leading the type testing for digital protection and field devices, communication converters, and component testing, along with product safety, climatic, and mechanical tests, and UL certifications. The successful candidate will define, execute, and meticulously document tests, including creating and maintaining test documentation. You will be responsible for planning test environments, procuring necessary hardware and software, and developing, commissioning, and supporting test stations. The position requires close collaboration with external testing and approval bodies, coordinating audits with clients and accreditation bodies (ISO 17025) for R&D test labs in Berlin, and supporting development and product management in design reviews and risk analyses.
