Job Summary

As a Global Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing global commodity and supplier segmentation strategies, particularly for Switchgear-related commodities like Insulators/GIS Bushings, Motors & Drives, and SF6 Gas. A significant part of your day will involve managing spend, coordinating cross-functional teams, and leading negotiations with a diverse set of international suppliers to achieve optimal conditions and savings. You will also manage supplier relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and proactively identify market risks to turn them into supply opportunities, all while maintaining strong international working relationships and contributing to the Business Unit's targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong negotiation skills to balance technical, commercial, and risk considerations for continued company growth.
