Job Summary
The Regional Association FrankfurtRheinMain is seeking a dedicated Specialist Consultant for Landscape Planning to contribute to the sustainable development of the vibrant FrankfurtRheinMain metropolitan region. In this role, you will be instrumental in the re-establishment of the Regional Land Use Plan and Regional Landscape Plan, focusing on integrating landscape planning content, particularly concerning species and biotope protection. Your daily tasks will involve conducting ecological assessments, including environmental impact assessments, species protection assessments, and Natura 2000 preliminary assessments, as well as preparing environmental reports. You will also be responsible for reviewing and responding to inquiries related to species and biotopes for municipal development plans and federal/state planning. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in landscape planning, environmental planning, or biology, who possesses strong analytical and conceptual skills, and a commitment to advancing nature and environmental protection.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Landscape Planning, Landscape Management, Nature Conservation, Landscape Ecology, Biology, Environmental Planning, or comparable fields
Experience
- • Several years of professional experience in landscape planning, environmental planning, or biology, enabling independent work without extensive training

- Driving License Class B (or III) and willingness to conduct on-site visits with a company car
