Job Summary
The municipality of Schnaitsee is seeking a Head of Administration to lead and organize its operational business, including personnel responsibility. This pivotal role involves providing expert support to the mayor, the entire administration, and the municipal council, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to local regulations. The ideal candidate will take the lead in coordinating cross-departmental tasks, handle fundamental municipal and legal matters, and manage council meeting preparations. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a service-oriented approach, offering a meaningful public service role within a supportive team environment in the scenic Chiemgau region.
Required Skills
Education
Successful completion of Civil Service Training Course II (Beschäftigtenlehrgang II), or Civil Service Examination II for Administrative Specialists (Fachprüfung II für Verwaltungsfachangestellte), or Civil Servant of the 3rd Qualification Level (3. Qualifikationsebene) in Administration and Finance (non-technical administrative service), or a relevant degree in Administrative or Legal Sciences.
Experience
- Professional experience in leading an administration, office, or department within a municipal administration or district office
- Experience with politically influenced decision-making bodies (e.g., municipal council, special purpose associations)
