Job Summary

As a Life Science Engineer, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of technologically advanced products in medical technology, laboratory technology, measurement technology, and sensor systems. Your daily tasks include developing physical concepts and solutions, particularly in optics, light guidance, optical sensors, and spectroscopy. You will plan, execute, evaluate, and document experimental investigations and measurement campaigns, support the development of customer-specific applications, and implement technical requirements in interdisciplinary teams. Additionally, you will create technical documentation and risk-based assessments during product development, and optimize development and testing processes in collaboration with production and quality assurance. The role requires a completed degree in physics, optics, engineering, or a comparable technical-scientific field, and experience with optical or optomechanical systems is advantageous. Interest in interdisciplinary tasks in optical measurement technology, sensor technology, or laboratory technology is essential.
