Job Summary

As a Development Engineer Electronics at FERCHAU, you will design advanced power and control electronics for electric drive systems from concept to implementation. Your daily tasks include dimensioning power electronic stages using state-of-the-art calculation methods, selecting electronic components based on technical requirements and cost, and performing circuit simulations with standard software. You will create and maintain schematic diagrams using tools like Cadence or AutoCAD, design and optimize PCB layouts, and conduct laboratory testing and validation of electronic assemblies. Additionally, you plan and document qualification and functional tests according to relevant standards. This role requires a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, along with solid experience in developing power electronic systems. You should be proficient in tools such as Cadence, AutoCAD, and PCB layout software, and have strong skills in circuit design, component selection, and testing.
