Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer at FERCHAU, you will develop and optimize PLC programs for machine and plant controls, commission and test automation systems both on-site and remotely, and perform fault analysis and troubleshooting on control systems. You will create technical documentation, adapt existing programs using TIA Portal or STEP7, integrate new hardware and software components, and collaborate with electrical design, mechanics, and project management teams to implement technical solutions. The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics, proven experience in PLC programming for industrial applications, familiarity with visualization systems and CAE systems, understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, and willingness for occasional business travel. German language skills at B2 level are required.
