Job Summary

As an Embedded Software Tester with SimpleXX GmbH, you will be assigned to DIEHL Aviation in Dresden, focusing on automated software testing for a fire-smoke system. Your daily tasks include defining test cases based on software requirements, verifying test coverage using IBM Rational Doors, developing test scripts in Python and VectorCAST/C++, and performing hardware/software integration tests (High Level Testing) as well as low-level tests. You will work with interfaces such as digital and analog I/Os, CAN bus, RS232, and SPI. The role requires a completed degree in embedded software development, electrical engineering, computer science, engineering, aerospace, mechatronics, or equivalent, along with professional experience in electrical engineering/electronics, development, functional testing on embedded systems, and aviation standards in software development/testing. Strong integration and teamwork skills, a goal-oriented work approach, and proficient German and English skills are expected.
