Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and optimizing customer-specific PLC controls. Your day-to-day work involves analyzing technical processes, creating functional specifications, and preparing for commissioning. You will integrate and commission automated system components and interfaces, perform independent error analysis and troubleshooting, and optimize control systems. You will also accompany acceptance tests. The role requires a completed degree or training in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable qualification, along with solid experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens S7, TIA Portal). Knowledge of process control technology and control systems is essential, as is the ability to independently analyze and resolve technical issues. Willingness to travel for on-site customer assignments is required.
