Job Summary

Join HUK-COBURG, one of Germany's largest insurers, as a DevOps & Platform Engineer focusing on cloud technologies within the BI environment. You will ensure the availability, stability, security, performance, and scalability of BI/ML platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, MS SSIS). Your day-to-day includes designing and operating modern container-based data platforms (Kubernetes/EKS) in cloud and hybrid environments, automating workflows with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps (ArgoCD), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). You'll develop monitoring and logging solutions, create backup and disaster recovery plans, and support data teams as a 2nd-level contact. The role requires a degree in (business) informatics, IT specialist training, or equivalent experience in BI/Data Science, along with strong knowledge of cloud and container technologies (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker). Experience with Python, IaC, CI/CD, GitOps, and security is advantageous.
