Job Summary

As an IT Administration Officer at the Independent Oversight Council (UKRat) in Berlin, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing the IT architecture, serving as the primary IT contact for the authority, and managing IT projects including federal IT consolidation. You will plan and implement IT requirements for existing and future properties, oversee IT administration in contract and procurement management, operate and further develop in-house software for handling classified materials, manage cryptographic resources, and coordinate IT service providers. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, administrative informatics, business informatics, or digital administration and cyber security, along with at least two years of professional experience in information or communication technology. You must be a German citizen and willing to undergo an extended security clearance.
