Job Summary
Join G&N Gefahrenmelde- und Nachrichtentechnik GmbH as a Service Technician specializing in Fire Alarm (BMA) and Voice Alarm Systems (SAA). You will be responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of these critical safety systems. This role involves troubleshooting, creating technical documentation, performing system checks according to regulations, and providing customer training. The position requires a vocational degree in electrical or communication technology, several years of experience with BMA/SAA systems, and knowledge of relevant standards (DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR). A driver's license and strong customer orientation are essential. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable field (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Information Electronics Technician).
Experience
- Several years of experience in installation, service, commissioning, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems (BMA) and Voice Alarm Systems (SAA)
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, information and communication technology, or a comparable field
- Experience working with relevant standards such as DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, and MLAR
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation (e.g., wiring diagrams, connection documents, site sketches)
- Experience in customer communication and training
