Job Summary
Join G&N Gefahrenmelde- und Nachrichtentechnik GmbH as a Service Technician specializing in Video Surveillance. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning modern video surveillance systems, as well as performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration. This role involves customer interaction, including consultations, introductions, and training, along with diligent documentation of all work. The position is based in Hamburg Barsbüttel and offers the opportunity to work with innovative technology in a secure industry. Ideal candidates possess a technical education, significant experience in video surveillance/CCTV, and strong network technology knowledge, including VLAN, IP addressing, and protocols. A valid driver's license (Class B) and a self-reliant, solution-oriented approach are essential.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable field (e.g., Electronics Technician, Information Electronics Technician, IT Specialist for System Integration).
Experience
- Several years of experience in video surveillance/CCTV.
- Professional experience in network technology, including VLAN, IP addressing, and protocols.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and commissioning video surveillance systems.
- Experience in maintenance, upkeep, and fault analysis of video systems.
- Experience in customer support, including consultations and training.
