Job Summary

This role involves the installation, cabling, and commissioning of charging infrastructure nationwide, ensuring compliance with standards and safe handover. You will perform maintenance and repair work on charging systems, including testing and measurements according to DIN VDE 0100-600 and DIN VDE 0105. Responsibilities also include commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of transformer substations, testing protective and switching devices, and documenting results. The position requires ensuring on-site quality, coordinating technical acceptance, troubleshooting, and maintaining technical documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering or a related field, practical experience in electrical and charging technology, strong technical understanding of measurements and fault finding, and a structured, independent work approach. High willingness to travel throughout Germany and German language skills at B2 level are essential.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician for Plant Systems, Industrial Electronics Technician, Energy and Building Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician) or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering and charging technology
  • Experience with AC/DC charging systems and transformer substations is ideal
  • Experience with measurements, commissioning, and fault finding according to relevant VDE standards
  • Experience operating testing and measurement equipment
