Job Summary

Join a leading commercial company based in central Zurich as a Network & Security Engineer, focusing primarily on Fortinet security solutions. In this demanding and versatile role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, administration, and engineering of national and international networks, which are exclusively Cisco-based. A core focus will be implementing and managing network security, including Fortinet/Fortigate firewalls, web proxies, and email security systems (Seppmail, Cisco). Day-to-day tasks involve planning and executing system upgrades, consulting with network providers, creating detailed system documentation, and providing essential 2nd and 3rd level network support. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT education, significant experience in a comparable (ideally international) environment, and specialized knowledge of Cisco networking and Fortinet security.
