Job Summary

Join our team as an ambitious EMC Measurement Technician specializing in Electrical Engineering. You will be responsible for planning and executing Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (EMVU) measurements on assemblies and systems, both domestically and internationally. This role involves leading test series according to specified standards, creating detailed documentation using MS Office and specialized software like EMC32, and analyzing measurement results against national and international standards. You will operate modern measuring equipment, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers, and support the development of test setups for specific customer requirements. The ideal candidate has a technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least three years of practical experience in an EMC laboratory environment and proficiency in relevant EMC standards.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a state-certified technician or completed (University of Applied Sciences) degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or comparable.

Experience

  • At least three years of practical experience in an EMC laboratory environment
  • Experience with relevant EMC standards (e.g., CISPR, ISO, EU directives)
  • Experience with automotive on-board network standards
  • Ideally, experience with military EMC standards like MIL-STD-461
  • Experience with MS Office programs
  • Experience with measurement software like EMC32 or comparable tools
