Job Summary
We are seeking an ambitious Power Test System Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying semiconductor failure modes and developing concepts for efficient simulation and degradation parameter monitoring. You will collaborate with global research groups to advance new testing methodologies, contribute to standardization efforts (ECPE/AQG-324), and represent the company at conferences. The position involves developing novel test systems, verifying failure modes in semiconductors, and gaining a deep understanding of power semiconductor modules and electric vehicle powertrains, particularly inverters. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, contribute to industry standards, and drive innovation in semiconductor reliability testing.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
Experience
- Professional experience in parameter measurement and reliability testing of power semiconductors, including materials
- Experience in the practical execution of reliability tests on power semiconductors, especially in power cycling
- Experience in design, characterization, or testing of power semiconductor modules
- Understanding of electric vehicle powertrains, particularly inverters
