Job Summary
FERCHAU is seeking an ambitious Network Planning Engineer to join their team, focusing on connecting people and technology. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and fundamental planning of supply networks and technical infrastructure, considering future demands. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting network studies and calculations, processing network connection requests, and contributing to budget planning for investments and maintenance. You will also support operational departments, optimize processes, and manage databases and technical documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, at least three years of experience in planning, construction, and operation of public electricity, gas, and water supply networks, and strong knowledge of relevant regulations. Excellent German language skills and a Class B driver's license are also required.

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in planning, construction, and operation of public electricity, gas, and water supply networks and systems.
- Professional experience in network development and fundamental planning of supply networks and technical infrastructure.
- Experience in processing network connection requests and managing approval processes.
- Experience in budget planning for investment and maintenance measures.
- Experience in supporting operational departments in planning, construction, and operation.
- Experience in optimizing operational and work processes.
- Experience in coordinating control and protection concepts.
- Experience in building, maintaining, and administering databases (e.g., maintenance and fault reporting databases).
- Experience in maintaining publication obligations, technical connection conditions, and network portals.
- Experience in updating and maintaining service specifications for civil engineering and pipeline construction.
- Experience in ensuring and managing required technical documentation.
