Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our client, a company based in Cologne. This role involves providing 1st and 2nd level support, handling incidents and service requests, and advising users on IT matters. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting clients, peripherals, and mobile devices, including on-site hardware deployment and setup. Key tasks also include monitoring office network infrastructure, managing user accounts and permissions in Windows Active Directory, and maintaining documentation according to ITIL standards. The position offers an opportunity to actively contribute to IT process improvements within the team.
Required Skills
Education
Completed apprenticeship as an IT System Integration Specialist or equivalent.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support, specifically 1st and 2nd level.
- Experience with Windows 11 in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Windows Active Directory administration.
- Experience with scripting languages, preferably PowerShell.
- Experience with ITIL standards and ITSM platforms.
- Experience in PC hardware diagnosis, replacement, and setup.
