Job Summary
Join Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Schienenfahrzeuge GmbH in Munich as an Embedded Systems Engineer to design and develop safety-critical embedded solutions. You will be responsible for selecting programmable components, defining system partitions, CPU performance, and cybersecurity requirements, and identifying/resolving performance and stability issues. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical or natural science degree (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar)
Experience
- Professional experience in embedded architectures
- Experience with microcontrollers
- Experience with industrial communication protocols
- User-level experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Understanding of hardware design principles is advantageous
- Knowledge of system programming with C is advantageous
