Job Summary
This role involves developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for high-precision machining, specifically focusing on grinding and ultra-precision machining techniques for the production and refurbishment of lithography optics. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing optical inspection processes to monitor and continuously improve quality, and for transitioning developed processes into series production. Key responsibilities include independently managing development tasks, ensuring project progress, and meeting deadlines, quality, and cost targets. The position requires close collaboration with internal expert teams, suppliers, and external development partners, offering a chance to take on significant responsibility and contribute to technological advancements within a supportive team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Micro- and Nanotechnology, Production Engineering, Technical Physics, or comparable engineering sciences (highly desirable)
Experience
- Professional experience supporting colleagues with long-standing know-how and expertise
- Proven knowledge in the manufacturing or structuring of technical surfaces (advantageous)
