Job Summary
This role involves independently preparing, conducting, and documenting complex pilot and industrial-scale experiments, particularly in thermal/powder metallurgical processes like calcination, reduction, and carburization. You will be responsible for producing and characterizing challenging customer samples, compressing experimental data using Office tools, and implementing compliance, maintenance, and quality assurance measures. The ideal candidate possesses a background as a physics/chemistry laboratory technician or chemical worker, with several years of experience in the chemical-metallurgical industry. Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and process control systems is essential, as are strong analytical skills, initiative, and a team-oriented approach. Required Skills
Education
Training as a physics/chemistry laboratory technician or chemical worker, preferably with additional qualifications.
Experience
- Several years of experience in the chemical-metallurgical industry
- Professional experience in laboratory or pilot-scale production and characterization of samples
- Experience with thermal/powder metallurgical processes (calcination, reduction, carburization)
- Experience with size reduction and classification equipment
