Job Summary
Dr. Oetker is seeking an innovative International Product Developer for Pizza and Snacks to join their Research and Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new pizza and snack recipes from prototype to production, aligning with the company's innovation process and portfolio strategy. You will collaborate closely with international R&D colleagues, marketing, innovation management, and production technology teams, as well as international production sites. This position involves project-related travel and working with raw material lead engineers to qualify new ingredients. You will utilize analytical infrastructure to assess product characteristics, interpret results, and contribute to the company's knowledge base on ingredients and formulations. The role also requires actively seeking new ingredients, recipes, and trends to drive innovation and presenting findings using IT infrastructure.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Food Technology, Oecotrophology, or Business Engineering with a focus on Food.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as a product developer for dough-based and/or savory products.
- Professional experience in food technology, oecotrophology, or business engineering with a focus on food.
- Experience in bakery, cooking, or other food manufacturing professions is an advantage.
