Job Summary

Join the central IT unit at the German Sport University Cologne, a unique and internationally renowned institution. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for network administration with a strong focus on IT security. Your day-to-day tasks will involve managing the IT security infrastructure, including firewalls, WAFs, network access control, and VPNs. You will also provide technical support for risk analyses, implement security concepts in collaboration with the IT Security Manager, handle IT security incidents, and document/develop the IT security infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a relevant IT vocational training with several years of professional experience, coupled with in-depth knowledge of IT security, network technologies, and firewall administration.
