Job Summary
The City of Pasewalk is seeking a full-time, permanent IT Administrator for its schools. This role involves comprehensive support and administration of the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, clients, and WLAN. You will manage school administration software, digital learning platforms, and end devices (Windows, iPads, Android tablets) using MDM. Key responsibilities include user account management, ensuring IT operational continuity through data backup and network security, providing first and second-level helpdesk support to teachers and staff, and coordinating with external service providers. The position also requires active participation in hardware and software procurement, as well as managing data backup and recovery processes, including system recovery after failures. IT System Administrator or comparable vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in, IT-Systemelektroniker/in)
