Job Summary

The Diocese of Augsburg is seeking an IT Security Specialist to join their IT Operations and Infrastructure department in Augsburg. This full-time, permanent role involves managing and supporting SIEM and SOC systems, monitoring security events, developing security policies, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, and implementing security systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a vocational training as an IT Specialist, with specialized further training and several years of professional experience in IT security. Experience with large, complex IT environments, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently are also required.
