Job Summary
Join Auvidea GmbH, a dynamic, owner-managed manufacturer of embedded hardware for Artificial Intelligence, as an Embedded Linux Developer. You will be responsible for the conception and planning of embedded software projects, developing and adapting drivers for various interfaces (I²C, CSI-2, UART, GPIO, SPI), and implementing Device Tree and Linux Device Drivers. The role involves bringing prototypes to life, testing, demonstration, and debugging hardware and software issues, along with creating documentation. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in embedded software development, particularly with Linux kernel and device drivers, and a passion for AI hardware solutions in a growing, future-proof industry.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d), degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification (motivated career changers also welcome)
Experience
- Professional experience in embedded software development in C
- Experience with Embedded Linux and hardware-near software development
- Experience with Linux Device Drivers, Device Tree, or common embedded interfaces (I²C, UART, GPIO, CSI-2) is advantageous
- Experience with Git and ideally CI/CD environments (e.g., GitLab)
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, or comparable ARM-based systems is ideal
