Job Summary

Join AWS Infrastructure Services as a Data Center Chief Engineer, a critical role responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of global AWS infrastructure. You will ensure the 100% availability of data center MEP systems, acting as the primary technical expert for electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment. Your day-to-day will involve planned maintenance, corrective work, emergency response, and managing small-to-medium projects from conception to completion, focusing on innovation, resiliency, and cost reduction. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems within a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the continuous operation of the cloud and experiencing an inclusive culture that empowers bold ideas. You will also direct, train, and support Engineering Operations Technicians.
