Job Summary
Join a team dedicated to empowering network operators across Europe with critical infrastructure solutions for electricity, heat, and water. As a Deployment Engineer/Installation Specialist, you will be instrumental in the successful implementation of IT projects for clients. Your day-to-day will involve installing and configuring software solutions both on-premises and in the cloud, analyzing and implementing technical requirements in close collaboration with clients and technical project managers, and meticulously documenting your work. You will also perform software upgrades and configuration adjustments, and manage internal systems for quality assurance and sales presentations. This role offers a path for growth into a technical project lead position with increasing experience.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a completed degree in Computer Science (Business, Geo-Informatics) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- For Junior roles: Interest in the field and basic knowledge of software rollout, databases, networks, and identity management.
- For Senior roles: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in deploying complex software systems for customers.
- Professional experience in analyzing and implementing technical requirements.
- Experience in documenting technical work.
- Experience in performing software upgrades and configuration adjustments.
- Experience managing internal IT systems.
