Job Summary

This R&D Engineer role focuses on protein chemistry within the Antibody and Protein Technologies team, contributing to diagnostic test development, particularly for the Elecsys platform. You will be involved in analyzing, purifying, and modifying proteins, with a special emphasis on developing antibody and antigen conjugates, blocking proteins, and their precursors. The position requires a Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology, or an equivalent qualification with substantial professional experience. Ideal candidates possess strong skills in protein purification and characterization, a deep understanding of protein chemistry, and experience with immunoassays. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential, as is an openness to digital workflows. This is a fixed-term position for 2 years.
