Join DB InfraGO AG as an FRMCS Specialist, contributing to the future of railway mobile communication. You will be instrumental in developing and optimizing 5G-based telecommunication platforms for safe and efficient train operations. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing technical options, evaluating new solutions, and supporting the evolution of the next mobile generation. You'll work within an interdisciplinary team to shape the technical foundation for Mission Critical Services and drive key elements of the future communication platform. This role requires a strong background in telecommunications or a related engineering field, with experience in mobile systems, particularly 5G and Mission Critical Services. Project management skills and proficiency in both German and English are essential for navigating this complex European project environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering (e.g., Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering) or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the conception, analysis, development, and/or operation of mobile communication systems, ideally in the area of 5G and Mission Critical Services.
- Proficiency in project management to confidently steer complex topics towards their goals.
- Experience in solution-oriented communication.
- Experience in self-organization and a proactive approach to new challenges.
- Experience working cooperatively and goal-oriented in interdisciplinary teams.
